
**ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Minnesota PLTW State Leadership Team along with event sponsors,
the Kern Family Foundation, the 3M Foundation, MnSCU, and the University of Minnesota
are pleased to announce that registration is now OPEN for the Second Annual Minnesota PLTW Teachers Conference.
All PLTW-trained teachers are strongly encouraged to attend this FREE annual event. Conference format includes breakout sessions
with PLTW master teachers and PLTW experts along with plenty of time built-in for networking with fellow PLTW teachers.
When: April 14th and 15th, 2009
Where: Oak Ridge Conference Center, 1 Oakridge Dr., Chaska, MN 55318
Cost: No cost to teachers--includes all meals, lodging, and 1.5 day conference!
In addition, all substitute teacher cost reimbursed by the Kern Family Foundation.
We strongly encourage ALL teachers to take advantage of networking time by staying overnight!

Request: We are asking you to bring at least one success story from a PLTW student (s) in your school to share at the conference.
All stories will be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to be used in your classroom!
FYI: The STI's in Minnesota for Summer 2009 are tentatively posted at: <http://www.it.umn.edu/pltw/> with registration beginning in mid-March.
